Hire the BEST DJ 

Nothing else on this list matters if you don’t have a great DJ who knows how to bring a wild party. It’s not just about playing music. It’s about reading the room, creating a positive energy that your guests respond to, and dropping the right song at just the right moment to keep your guests dancing all night long. 

Live Mixing

Josh Staley Productions DJs live mix at all of their weddings. The way we DJ is a live performance. The DJ is engaged and working the whole time!

Perfect vendor team

It takes a lot of people to put together a perfect wedding day. The DJ is definitely the most visible, but you need to have a great photographer/videographer, a knowledgeable planner, an efficient caterer, and helpful venue staff. These people will all be working together to make your wedding day perfect, so if they are the best of the best, you know your wedding day will be just right!

Having a Wedding Planner

Or at least a day-of coordinator. You need someone to help facilitate everything the day of so that you, your fiance, and your mothers can relax and enjoy the day.  The planner will help keep everything on schedule and make sure all the details are taken care of. 

Book a great venue

Location, location, location! Have your wedding at a place that does weddings regularly, that can recommend the best vendors, and that has a staff who knows what they’re doing. If all you get is a space and they leave you on your own to figure everything out, don’t book there.
